Blu ray DVD technology has developed in a somewhat haphazard way since its introduction in 2006. This had led to a lack of uniformity in the development of blu ray DVD formats and blu ray DVD players. If you are looking at blu ray players in order to select the one that's best for you, be sure that you look for one that has these 2 features included in it, as not all players on the market have these capabilities.
Firstly, check if the player has the BD-Live feature, which is also known as Profile 2.0. BD-Live enables the blu ray DVD player to engage in internet connected activities like social networking and interactive games.
Another special feature to check in your blu ray DVD player is BonusView. This feature allows for picture-in-picture content, which means that you are able to play other audio and video alongside the feature film. The BonusView capability is a must-have for movie fans who are eager to watch add-on director interviews and bonus documentaries that show the making of the movie.

Zhang Xun, president of the China Film Co-Production Corporation, said that of 340 official film co-productions made by Chinese companies since 2000, only 29 have been made with European studios. Chinese film-makers, officials and executives are viewing co-production of European films as an area of opportunity that is currently under-developed.
With ballooning box office receipts domestically, Chinese studios are no longer desperate for startup budgets but are instead seeking marketing partners. Another reason to look to European co-production is that it may help to ease the shortage of actors and directors in China. At present, movies and TV series are getting postponed because actors schedules are already too full. French director Jean-Jacques Annaud is now preparing to spend a year in China shooting Wolf Totem in 2012, and if it becomes an official co-production it would set a precedent.
